- Sgt - 510 Hangar - Nice to see all the old names are still
going strong. After completing to age 55 I became a Full Time
reservist for 2 years, then moved to Scotland to act as carer,
became head of security at a NATO oil installation, not as grand
as it sounds!!

- I was in 108th Entry, transferred from
Locking to Cosford in 1966, passed out as Corporal on 11th April
1968 I went back to Cosford as an Instructor (Sergeant) in November 1973. Instructor on Air Radar (AI23B), then Airfield Training Flight (with Chuck Potter who you show, Phil Jones, Craig Watson, etc.) followed by Basic Electronics Squadron until demob (actually March 1978 but actually left Cosford at end of 1977 for resettlement training as a Lecturer at ICL where I met many former RAF fitters & technicians, including some who had worked with me - Do email or call if I can add anything. |

- 503 Hangar - I was in 503 1980 - 1985, took over from Taff Davies,
worked with John Whitmore and Glen Woods, also Geoff Wells was
the other air comms in the Hangar. Steve Preston was in 521, still
see him occassionally. Now retired and do voluntary work at the
museum, Roy Martin is still active there. Bill Roseby is still
around, his wife passed away 2013. |

- 521 Hangar - I left the Service at 55 but then
stayed in MOD working as a civil servant at Cranwell. I am still
there, just, but have been given my notice and will most probably
be leaving next year. Lived in Lincoln for 20 odd years. |
